Fundamental Attribution Error

While there's a saying that if you see one aspect of a person, you know everything about them, there's actually no one who displays the same personality across all situations. Someone who seems terrible at work might be an angelic father and husband at home, and someone who seems awful at home might be impressive and kind to friends and colleagues at work. It's difficult to interpret someone's behavior in a minimal way based on limited observations, but this approach is the first step towards mutual understanding and a way to maintain relationships with those around you.
