Seonglae ChoReporting → Relating → Reasoning → Restructuring
This is the third week of UCL Pre-sessional course and I am learning several useful concept about research and writing which could not be accessible without the course. For example, today’s main topic for pre-sessional class was about the Reflective Writing. There were concrete notions to learn and I have enjoyed it in light of the interest about self-reflection nowadays with the perspective of brain network. Based on my knowledge, self-reflection is closely related to the Default mode network (DMN) which refers the brain activity during a rest time. This class helped me to figure out what the reflection exactly is and how to express it as reflective writing with diverse methods. Also, this insight will help me do better research and write a better paper.
The three main purpose of this course is making friends, learning English, and preparing dissertation. Until now, it does quite well and I am trying to make a balance between the class and my work. I am doing well since I does not really do individual works sincerely but hustling about my paper’s abstract and presentation with a lot of discussion in English. However my interest is also in making friends and I will try to make more close relationship with friends in my class and be brave for making friend in another class either. In summary, this class helps me to get a lot of terminology about research and writing which would be a unique source of my work.
