Raspberry Pi announces the Pico W, a $6 microcontroller equipped with Wi-Fi
Raspberry Pi has introduced a successor to last year's Pico, a $4 microcontroller based on the RP2040 chip the company designed itself. The new model is called the Pico W. It's basically the same hardware, but it adds, as the name suggests, an 802.11n Wi-Fi radio, making it useful for putting together IoT projects and the like.

OS Writing
GitHub - isometimes/rpi4-osdev: Tutorial: Writing a "bare metal" operating system for Raspberry Pi 4
As a tech CEO @RealVNC, I don't write code any more. And I've recently realised just how much I miss it. Currently in the throes of a nationwide "lockdown" due to Covid-19 (and having been spared my usual commute), I've found myself with more hours in the day.

Internet

A Raspberry Pi Configuration for Internet connectivity I have had a couple Pis doing random Internet-related duties for years. It's finally time to formalize their configs and make all the DNS/ad-blocking/monitoring stuff encapsulated into one Ansible project. So that's what this is.

64 bit
Raspberry Pi OS now available in 64-bit, improving app compatibility
The Raspberry Pi series of single-board computers has been a runaway success over the years, thanks to its fantastic versatility and low cost. From powering DIY electronics projects to functioning as cheap PCs for learning programming, the Raspberry Pi series can do it all, and now another significant upgrade has arrived: a 64-bit version of the default operating system.
