Description

4 Units, Lecture, 3 hours; discussion, 1 hour. Prerequisite(s): EE 120B or CS 120B. Introduces principles and practices of programming graphics processing units (GPUs) using the parallel programming environment. Covers memory/threading models, common data-parallel programming patterns and libraries needed to develop highperformance parallel computing applications. Examines computational thinking; a broader range of parallel execution models; and parallel programming principles. Cross-listed with EE 147.
