Seonglae ChoWe strongly urge you to purchase airline tickets AFTER you have obtained your visa and confirmed travel conditions to the US from your home country. It may be tempting to buy a ticket early or a non-refundable ticket to save money. If later, you need to make any schedule changes, the purchase of a changeable/refundable airline ticket will ultimately give you flexibility with no added cost.
Plan to arrive in the US no more than 30 days prior to the program start date on your DS-2019 and in time to attend your host UC orientation program.
Check the calendar and plan any leisure travel for AFTER your study abroad or during holiday breaks. This will give you sufficient time to secure your visa and your housing prior to your expected arrival.
비자를 취득하고 모국에서 미국으로 가는 여행 조건을 확인한 후에 항공권을 구매하시기 바랍니다. 돈을 절약하기 위해 일찍 티켓을 구매하거나 환불이 불가능한 티켓을 구매하고 싶을 수 있습니다. 나중에 일정을 변경해야 하는 경우 변경/환불 가능한 항공권을 구매하면 추가 비용 없이 궁극적으로 유연성을 얻을 수 있습니다.
DS-2019에 기재된 프로그램 시작일 30일 전까지 그리고 호스트 UC 오리엔테이션 프로그램에 참석할 시간에 맞춰 미국에 도착할 계획을 세우십시오.
