Installation Options

While installing the full Agent is recommended, a standalone DogStatsD package is available for Amazon Linux, CentOS, Debian, Fedora, Red Hat, SUSE, and Ubuntu. This package is particularly useful in containerized environments where DogStatsD runs as a sidecar or in environments with standalone DogStatsD requirements.

Getting Started with DataDog

To install the DataDog agent on Windows using Chocolatey, use the following command:


choco install -ia="APIKEY="""" SITE=""datadoghq.com"" HOSTNAME=""my_hostname"" TAGS=""mytag1,mytag2""" datadog-agent
