세상이 4차원도 아니고 11차원이라고? 초공간세상과 초끈이론에 관하여
숨겨진 차원은 지금의 기술로는 확인하는 것이 불가능합니다.
하지만 4차원 이상의 시공간 차원을 대입하면
세상의 여러 작동 방식에 대한 명쾌하고 단순한 설명이 가능해집니다.
그러나 기술력의 한계로 인해 아주 먼 미래까지도
숨겨진 차원을 실험적으로 밝혀내기는 어려워 보입니다.
혹은 영원히 불가능할 지도 모르죠.

개인적으로는 초공간의 일부분이라도 발견할 수 있다면

물론 발견될 것이라는 희망은 크지 않네요.
다만 초끈이론이 만약 실패하더라도
세상을 바라보고 느낄 수 있는 새로운 시각을 깨우쳐줬다는 점이나
이를 연구하며 파생된 수많은 수학적 성과를 본다면,
최소한 뉴턴이 말했던 '거인의 어깨' 역할은 충분히 할 것입니다.
