Belgian-Dutch child prodigy gets bachelor's degree in physics at age 11: "Immortality is my goal"
Laurent Simons, a child prodigy from the Belgian coastal town of Ostend, has obtained his bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Antwerp, summa cum laude, at the age of 11, the Dutch public broadcaster NOS reports. Simons only took a year to complete the bachelor's degree, which usually takes at least three years.
