전고체 배터리란 무엇일까?
리튬이온 배터리는 양극, 음극, 분리막, 전해질로 구성됩니다. 현재 스마트폰이나 전동공구, 전기자전거, 전기자동차 등에 사용하는 리튬이온 배터리는 액체 상태의 전해질을 사용하고 있습니다. 이와 달리 전고체 배터리는 전해질이 액체가 아닌 고체 상태인 배터리입니다. 구조적으로 살펴보면 현재 사용하고 있는 대부분의 리튬이온 배터리는 양극과 음극 사이에 접촉을 방지하는 분리막이 위치하고 액체 전해질이 양극, 음극, 분리막과 함께 있지만, 전고체 배터리는 액체 전해질 대신 고체 전해질이 포함되면서 고체 전해질이 분리막의 역할까지 대신하고 있습니다.
