You do not specify exactly which version of Ubuntu 18.04 you are running. if you have doe all the updates, you should be running ubuntu 18.04.3.... You can check this by running the following command line lsb_release -sd If you are running Ubuntu 18.04.3, there is a known issue with xrdp package provided by Canonical.
