SSD [Solid State Drive] SSD는 크게 데이터 저장용 메모리인 낸드 플래시(NAND Flash), 인터페이스와 메모리 사이의 데이터 교환 작업을 제어하는 컨트롤러(Controller), 외부 장치와 캐시메모리 역할을 하는으로 구성된다. 특히 낸드 플래시 메모리는 전원이 꺼지더라도 기록된 데이터가 사라지지 않는 비휘발성 메모리이기 때문에 데이터의 영속성을 보장한다.
