Longevity escape velocity
If the rate at which life expectancy increases becomes faster than the rate at which I age
Biological Age Measurement (Clocks):
- Epigenetic clocks: Good at predicting age, but unclear direct correlation with randomness and cellular functional damage.
- Telomere length: Damage is more important than length itself, limiting its value as a single indicator.
- Transcriptome/proteomics-based clocks: Promising in terms of mechanistic understanding and correlation, but still in early research stages.
