Debate

Discussion is a form of

.
We should discuss ways to minimize the probability of the same problem recurring within the same framework. When conversing about a topic, irrelevant mentions should be minimized as they inherently divert attention. Actually, negating opinions can increase the resolution of the topic (

  • If you disagree, try getting curious about what your partner is thinking
  • Don't be afraid to say 'oops' and change your mind
What's important is not the completeness of the logic, but how much the logic corresponds with common sense in the world. Rather than the standard of what should be, if we look from the standard of understanding why it is so, we don't need to justify ourselves as victims. Because human perception has its limits, if my logic feels perfect, it's a delusion.
Naturally, what's important to me might not be important to someone else, and what's unimportant to others might be crucial to me. This difference creates conflict situations, so it's necessary to distinguish whether someone's opinion truly differs from my values or if it's simply a matter of different interests leading to different interpretations. We need to understand that everyone has their own logic, and every individual acts based on what they believe is right in the world as they see it. When viewed this way, many situations can be resolved without anger or arguments.
One should not give authoritative answers to questions that have no definitive answers. Relying on authority is easy but merely an indirect approach, and in discussions, one should not believe in the authoritative citations of the other party but should provide direct counterarguments to their claims. For questions without answers, hearing answers is a source of harm.
